In this tutorial I will show how to upload a video with Sony Vegas 9.0 in 720p. The example I did was How to Render the video and upload to Youtube the Version 9.0 and Pro 8.0 don’t have many differences so you may try but the differences are minimal.
In This Tutorial You Need The Current:
Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0
Sony Vegas Pro 8 (Olmost the same if not im sorry)
The first step, open up Vegas either one if you have one or the other once its open pick your video edit it do whatever you want to it.
Go to Project-Render As then it should pop up a window before you click save go to custom and for Video Rendering Quality Select Best
Next for audio if you want to you can include audio if you do just check the include audio for attributes you can mess with that if you know which sound quality you prefer for your video you might prefer 256 just because its the best.
Next on the video tab keep everything the same except for frame rate change it to 60 and on the quality move the bar to 100% for best results
For the index summary tab you can change that to whatever you want after that if you want the black bars out click on the media that you have in the video part and right click and select properties and uncheck maintain aspect ratio click ok and click save and it should render Go Read a book or something..
Now to YouTube….
Once that’s done you should go to the Youtube Website If you haven’t made an Account now’s a good Time to make one.
If you already have then Go to Upload on the top side of the website and select Upload Video (keep in mind it can only be 10 minutes and 59 seconds maximum) then Select Your video and click open and it should start uploading it might take a while so just let it upload.
During the upload you can change the info on what the tags could be or the category or the description and there you go a after its uploaded let YouTube render it so it can get the quality we worked to get and that is how to upload in 720p.
